The Poseidon DGF/DNF principle of operation is similar to that of the Poseidon DAF units.

The units are, however, covered for inert gas blanketing to control hydrocarbon emissions.

The use of air in the dissolving and recirculation systems is typically replaced with an inert gas (DGF) such as Nitrogen (DNF).

Individual unit flow capacities from 25 m3/h (110 usgpm) to 1800 m3/h (8000 usgpm).

Multiple units can be used to meet specific project requirements.

Poseidon DGF/DNF Units


Poseidon offers DGF/DNF units in two basic models: horizontal rectangular PPM® model and column-shape Saturn™ model configurations to suit particular site requirements.

The units are covered for inert gas blanketing to control hydrocarbon and other emissions. The covers are equipped with flanged connections to receive control instrumentation.

Stainless steel and other corrosion-resistant materials used for construction along with a design which uses very few moving parts, none under water level, as well as the use of exclusive chainless float/ sludge scraping removal systems, all contribute to a reliable operation and minimal maintenance. Different stainless steel grades such as 304L, 316L and Duplex 2205 are used to fit the process needs.

The efficiency of the Poseidon recirculation system is attributed to our worldwide Patented PoseïPumpTM which ensures fine air dispersion into the recirculated water and builds a proper pressure to allow for flotation gas dissolution and saturation. The use of intermediate capture separation surfaces allows for highly efficient DGF/DNF units and for very compact installed footprints.
